Thank you for the Eternal Remembrance for Margaret, my mother. She always told us how happy she was there. I know she took great comfort in the daily Mass and Rosary.
I can’t tell you how we will always remember the very Special Care she received there. It has been very helpful knowing she was so well taken care of! Thank you. The Villa will always hold a special spot in our hearts.

We wanted to let you know how much we appreciate the care and attention that was given our father Sebastiano Capello during his last few months of life. During that difficult time we had to make decisions that were always respected. Everyone there truly seems to care for the patient’s well-being.
The staff always conducted themselves professionally while displaying the human touch. We want to especially thank Maria for her calm and caring manner; Charlene and Jonimae for their cheerfulness; Philene and Katherine for their patience with us and their sense of urgency; Esther for her attention to detail and Alfredo and Tony for their caring and compassion. Thank you too Ardy for making the process of taking our father in your facility seamless and extremely easy. We have and will continue to sing the praises of the Villa Scalabrini to those we know. I would like to thank the personnel at the Villa for the wonderful care and love shown my mother especially Amelia, Tony and Ana for their dedication to the people under their care. If my mother needed to be put in a home or hospital I wanted the place to be run by the Catholic which my mother was so devoted to her religion. with the guidance from Frank and Mara Chimenti (Frank’s mother Catherine was at the Villa) they help me ease my mind when my mother was to ill to ever come back to her home. Dear Staff of Villa Scalabrini and Special Care Unit,
My dad Hernando and I would like to express our gratitude and appreciation for the wonderful care that you lovingly provided for my mother Celmira Cote. The Fathers, nuns, administration and nursing staff are greatly appreciated for the outstanding and compassionate care throughout her stay at Villa Scalabrini. Dad and I have witnessed the fantastic care towards my mom and we feel all of you have become an extended family. Especially towards my dad. There always was a smile for him or a hug, or just time to stop and ask how he is doing.
For the period of time mom was with you, I know she had a better quality of life by all the medical care, wonderful games and field trips she enjoyed so much. Especially, when you showed movies and served popcorn or ice cream. Villa Scalabrini is a true asset to assisting living and to the service they provided for elderly care. They should be a terrific example to all other institutions on how medical care and assisted living services should be rendered.

The eyes with which you choose to view the patients (MOM!) are eyes full of wisdom and kindness. Many only see what is the frail outer condition or the rambling of an outer shell not connected to the soul within. Yet the staff here sees the care of a human that has fully contributed to our world today and can promote the dignity of that life in its present condition.
