La Piazza at Villa Scalabrini
The most recent addition to Villa Scalabrini is La Piazza, 20 beautiful residences that offer seniors the opportunity to enjoy the benefits of living in a protected community environment, while maintaining independence and privacy. There are a few things more important to the enjoyment of retirement years than good health, companionship and comfort in the place we choose to live.
The individual residences of La Piazza are designed for active seniors, ages 55 and older, who are able to live on their own, but desire the lifestyle associated with community living and the comfort of centralized services. At La Piazza all this is provided in a beautiful atmosphere, in serene surroundings and at a cost typically lower than living alone in a home.
Sharing a beautiful campus immediately adjacent to Villa Scalabrini Retirement Center and Special Care Unit, each climate controlled spacious residence includes 2 bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a large bath, living room and dining room, 1 covered carport and 1 reserved parking space, and on site laundry facility. All utilities are included with rent: gas, water, electricity, trash. Housekeeping and linen service is provided weekly and two gourmet meals, lunch and dinner, are served in the beautiful dining room, where residents can share a comfortable social environment with family and friends. Each meal is prepared daily from scratch, with fresh ingredients of the highest quality and a menu prepared by our chef with special attention to healthy and appetizing choices.
A Club Room offers La Piazza residents the opportunity to further socialize, playing cards, reading, watching movies on the large screen television and more. Also on site are a putting green and a gym, open daily for the residents, with group classes guided by a licenses instructor.
At La Piazza the residents will gain peace of mind knowing that they will always have a home where their needs are catered for. When needed, they will enjoy priority access for admission to higher levels of care offered on the premises at the Retirement Center or at the Special Care Unit.
Daily Mass is celebrated on campus. The concierge desk at the Villa is always available for check cashing, fax, stamps and photocopies.
